Support

The Center for Functional Neuroimaging currently receives primary support from the Department of Radiology, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke through an NINDS Center Core in neuroimaging. The CfN data analysis facility and administrative office are located within the Department of Neurology. Through the generous support of the School of Medicine, a second, enhanced Data Analysis facility and the CfN Mock Scanner, located in Richards Building, 5th floor, C. Wing.

The CfN gratefully acknowledges the extensive contributions of expertise and ancillary equipment being provided by neuroimaging investigators in the University of Pennsylvania community.

In 2006 the CfN assumed administrative management of the existing Siemens Trio 3T MRI scanner, which will be dedicated for neuroscience neuroimaging. This has been made possible through the generous support of the School of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Provost.

In previous years, the CfN has also received collaborative core support from the Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute's Research Methods for Cognitive Rehabilitation Project, funded through the National Institute of Child Health and Development, from the Human Brain Project-funded VoxBo software development grant, from the Sante Fe Institute to support perfusion fMRI and a generous development gift from Mr. John Parker.
